Paolo Sachet Paolo Sachet, PhD (2015), the Warburg Institute, is currently Ambizione Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institut d’histoire de la Réformation, Université de Genève, leading the four-year project The Greek Imprint on Europe: Patristics and Publishing in the Early Swiss Reformation. His research focuses on the impact of printed books on the intellectual history of early modern Europe. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and collective volumes, co-edited The Afterlife of Aldus: Posthumous Fame, Collectors and the Book Trade (2018) and authored Publishing for the Popes: The Roman Curia and the Use of Printing, 1527-1555 (2020). Paolo is the editor in chief of AGAPE. |
Matteo Colombo Matteo is a PhD candidate and research assistant at the Institut d’Histoire de la Réformation, Université de Genève, as part of the FNS project Paulusauslegung des 16. Jahrhunderts. His studies focus on the early modern Swiss and European history, especially on the relationship between the Reformed understandings of early Christianity and the world of printing. His PhD project tackles the historical approach to Paul’s letters in the fifteenth and sixteenth century. Matteo is deputy editor of AGAPE and one of editors of RRP-Reformation Readings of Paul. |
Luigi Tessarolo Luigi Tessarolo, independent scholar, has been ICT Project Manager for many academic projects funded by Italian and European institutions and concerning Latin poetry (Poeti d’italia in lingua latina tra medioevo e rinascimento, 1999 and 2001; Musisque Deoque, 2005 and 2007; Pedecerto, 2011), Spanish literature (Miguel de Cervantes, Novelas ejemplares, 2004; La Pícara Justina, 2015; EPIGRAMA, 2017), 18th-century music dramas (Pietro Metastasio, Drammi per musica, 1998; Carlo Goldoni, Drammi per musica, 2001; Libretti d’opera, 2002; Apostolo Zeno, Drammi per musica, 2018), Franco-Italian literature (RIALFrI, 2012), Ancient Greek epigraphy (AXON, 2015), and the 16th-century European book market (EMoBookTrade, 2020). Luigi is in charge of the technical-IT support for AGAPE as well as the AGAPE website build, and design assistance. |
Chris Boulden Chris Boulden is from Christchurch, in New Zealand’s South island. Having studied Visual Communication & Design at CPIT (1997), his career has seen him directing and animating cartoons for television, designing branding for eminent corporations, government organisations, NGOs, and has worked closely with the arts sector in Wellington, NZ. He has lived in London, UK since 2008 working as an independent consultant. Balancing his time, Chris also produces art works from his London studio, exploring various traditional painting and woodblock printmaking techniques. Chris is responsible for designing the AGAPE brand identity and website aesthetic. |
